Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using StripeReport (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including those on a free trial.

2. Description of Service

StripeReport is a subscription analytics dashboard that connects to your Stripe account via a read-only API key to provide revenue metrics, cash flow projections, churn analytics, and automated email reports. The Service is provided on a subscription basis.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to bind the business entity you represent.

4. Stripe API Key & Data Access

To use the Service, you must provide a Stripe restricted API key with read-only permissions. By connecting your Stripe account, you represent that:

  • You are authorized to grant us read access to the Stripe account
  • The API key you provide has only the read-only permissions required by the Service
  • You may revoke access at any time by deleting the restricted key in your Stripe dashboard

We will never request or use API keys with write permissions. If you believe your API key has been compromised, revoke it immediately in your Stripe dashboard.

5. Free Trial & Subscription

StripeReport offers a 3-day free trial. After the trial period, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan at $19.99/month unless you cancel before the trial ends. You can cancel at any time from your account settings.

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • No refunds are provided for partial months
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days’ notice

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to access data belonging to other users
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service beyond normal usage
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without written permission
  • Provide API keys with write permissions or keys belonging to Stripe accounts you do not control

7. Data Accuracy & Disclaimer

StripeReport calculates metrics based on the data available through your Stripe API key. While we strive for accuracy, the Service is provided “as is” and we do not guarantee that all calculations will be 100% accurate in all scenarios. Specifically:

  • MRR, ARR, and churn calculations are estimates based on subscription data at the time of calculation
  • Revenue projections are forecasts, not guarantees of future income
  • The Service should not be used as the sole basis for financial, tax, or legal decisions
  • You should verify critical figures against your Stripe dashboard and consult with qualified professionals

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, features, and documentation, is owned by StripeReport and protected by intellectual property laws. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your internal business purposes.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StripeReport shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from:

  • Your use of or inability to use the Service
  • Any inaccuracy in metrics or projections
  • Unauthorized access to your data due to your failure to secure your account
  • Any interruption or cessation of the Service

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Service Availability

We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service depends on third-party providers (Stripe API, Supabase, Vercel) and may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

11. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, fail to pay subscription fees, or if we reasonably believe your use poses a security risk. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and we will delete your data within 30 days per our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Service at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes are effective constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
